The Second National Conference of the European Youth Parliament Slovenia in Ljubljana is an event made by youth for youth.Together 150 participants will 5 days work on finding solutions to the most current European problems and at the same time enjoy the culturally different environment. The youth will get a chance to work in an international envrionment and develop their pontentials. The Conference will enable participants to express their opinions and transfer their ideas onto decision makers.Participants will together in nine international teams debate, research and try to solve the problems assigned to their team. The product of their work will be resolutions, which will have to pass a vote in the final part of the event, the Generall assembly. The resoultions will be in form of a document handed over to decision makers and guest at the closing Gala evening. The suggesters will have a chance to explain their reasons for the proposal to the guests of the closing Gala evening.Individials will at the conference experience formal and informal ways of learning, which is designed to promote active European citizenship and spreading democratic values. The goal of the project is to motivate the young to take part in discussions about the future of Europe and at the same time gain new friendships and skills. The European Youth Parliament Slovenia with the support of its partners will show the participants that solving issues can be full of knowledge and most importantly important.
