PROJECT
FINISHED
The new project follows on our action regarding the mobility while adapting more to our trainees’young age & opening to the European cultural diversity. The MFR de Vayres and Tempo Libero in Bordeaux proposes this project whose aim is to include, in the educational development of young people in vocational training, a formative experience in a member state of the European Union.
The project concerns the young people registered at the MFR de Vayres who are getting a qualification in the food industry, vine-growing, oenology, agronomics, wine trade, ecology and rural tourism field.
The target jobs require specific skills in order to comply with the methods and techniques development
as well as to understand the new types of foreign clients and to adapt to a more and more competitive environment.
Confronted with the opening up fast-growing wine market, the proficiency of a foreign language, indeed several foreign ones, is a vital skill for the professional development of the sector.
When faced to the crisis of the wine industry, the development of the agri-tourism activities represents an important opportunity concerning the activities of this industry.
By allowing the acquisition of additional skills, linguistic skills in particular, and the development of skills in adaptability, this project contributes to enhance the employability of the beneficiaries in the wine field and in the rural tourism field.
A target country has been identified considering the wants and the need of the learners: Italy.
Both wine-producing, crate of wine-making, comprised of a multitude of wine regions from North to South and wine-consumer country, it presents professional specifics.
The selected foreign partners (host organizations) are the links between young people and training education. They follow the beneficiaries during their professional and cultural path.
They provide complementary formative tools and they support young people in the appropriation and the valorisation of their experience. Moreover, they contribute to the evaluation and the capitalisation of the project results.
Take notice that our new orientation focuses more on European cultural diversity. Mastering the English language is important but we think that learning other European languages is also necessary & helpful to students in their future careers.
The placement is intended for a length of 2 weeks at the host company. In order to succeed in this work experience placement, the MFR de Vayres and the AFEC Europe are committed to setting up the necessary arrangements for the training preparation, the monitoring, the evaluation and the capitalisation.
- The beneficiaries' preparation is carried out together, at first at the MFR de Vayres offices, where young people are in training. The preparation includes the awareness and the information of the beneficiaries on the host country, the language evaluation, the identification of individual professional goals, the search of a training, the definition of the accommodation modalities and the formalisation of the commitment.
- The monitoring during the work experience placement includes the pedagogical monitoring at the company and the support in the solving of the problems on the spot.
- The capitalisation of the results is conducted when the young people are back and it is allowed through the collection of the training reports (written by the trainees) and through the training booklets (internal tool used by the MFR d’Aquitaine network which follow the trainee's path during all the duration of the placement) and the final evaluation which gives right to the discharge of the Europass.
