The youth welcome space A Space For All (l’Espace Pour Tous) has a goal to make its public autonomous and responsable, united, and to open them to cultural discovery. In this perspective, an exchange with a European country will meet all these objectives. The young people who wish to participate in this project are participating in a participative approach. They participated in the research of destinations, contacts with partners and service providers... Before the trip, several activities will be implemented such self-financing actions, linguistic games, research workshops and contact with Portuguese youngsters. During this action, we wish to promote an encounter with young people aged 14 to 17 originating from different cultures and backgrounds, so as to foster the reflexion on the theme of "living together" applied to the area of non-formal education. The different activities of the exchange will be centered around the sharing and exchanging of cultures through discovery games, visits and workshops. Part of the activities will be dedicated to creating cohesion inside the group by living strong experiences for instance by experiencing extra-ordinary activities such as an intercultural evening. In a longer term, the Space For All hopes to make this quality partnership with the Clube Interculturel Europeu durable, so as to offer this experience to all the publics welcomed in the centre. We also hope to trigger a dynamiws of European mobility, helping the young people to educate themselves in an informal manner by travelling, to stop being afraid to live experiences abroad, and on the contrary to raise awareness that mobility is a subsequent personal enrichment and a major asset in the work market.
