Youth employment, entrepreneurship and thus also entrepreneurial skills are key aspects of Europe’s prosperity in the future. According to Eurostat data youth unemployment rate in European Union in 2014 was 21.4% and in such countries as Greece and Spain accrodingly 51.1% and 51.7%. It means that every second young person is unemployed in these countries and every fifth young person in European Union and there is an urgent need for environment, activities and facilitation in order to decrease those numbers by all means. Youth Exchange „SCREW IT, LET’S DO IT!” therefore will gather 34 youngsters from Spain, Latvia, Italy, Greece and Portugal for 7 days in Latvia in order to develop TOP 6 skills and traits of a successful entrepreneur based on the opinion of top notch entrepreneurs, publishers and entrepreneurship learning institutions. During the exchange youngsters will develop an entrepreneurial mindset which strives to solve problems rather than accept defeat, day by day building the key attributes of passion, determination, team-work, problem solving, creativity and risk-taking. Youth exchange will place particular emphasis on Entrepreneurship – giving youngsters the confidence to achieve what they want in life and driving aspiration.
