Schwarzwälder in Europa 2014
Start date: Aug 31, 2014, End date: May 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The program called "Black Forest man in England in 2014” was applied by the Stadtjugendring Betriebs GmbH Pforzheim (municipal youth office PLC / short form SJR) and coordinated by the Verein für Internationale Mobilität e.V. (Association for International Mobility registered society / short form VIMOB) The planned target countries were the UK and Ireland. As reason for the change from the EU-program Leonardo da Vinci EU to ERASMUS + only a self-organized student was able to be placed in Devon / England in spite of the large advertising work. Finally, such a contract was closed with a 22 -year-old trained potter, who completed the program as a free mover after his apprenticeship. The participant already organized his traineeship and his accommodation, when he applied for the program. The SJR and VIMOB used this application to try out the new guidelines for the Erasmus EU program + . The experience from abroad has been attested in many ways (Europass, language course certificate, program confirmation, internship certificate). The partnership between SJR and VIMOB had been improved continuously in all areas. Due to a visit in England by the project manager of VIMOB were face-to face conversations with the participant and the foreign partner possible. The exchange was about the content, the execution of the program and also about future perspectives. As result of the short-term change in the EU program (see above) we had some difficulties in receiving participants. Approximately 25 candidates just cancelled before the start of the program, as they found a job or they did not have enough financial resources or they were not part of the target group for this changed EU program.
