The project SiE4E will contribute to the achievement of this overall objective: Development, implementation and transfer of innovative practices to schools, local and regional authorities, teachers, education organizations and others types of organizations in the Programme Countries through the following specific objective or purpose: Improve school education practices and social inclusion connected to multilingualism. The project idea is based on the consideration of the importance of multilingualism nowadays in view of the adjustment of skills to the demands of the world of work and inclusion, in Europe, as citizens and society, to ensure each individual the same opportunity to access education at an appropriate level, even and especially in economically, physically and socially disadvantaged situations. SiE4E aims to address these needs through the development of a new, innovative, strategy leading to a high level of learning of foreign languages to be spent on the labor market, resulting in an improvement of teaching methodologies, proponing mobility as a learning and involvement tool for students, especially for the most disadvantaged. The Strategic Partnership is composed by 3 schools (for a total of 120 participants: 99 students and 21 members of the technical staff) from cities that have already had the opportunity to share positive experiences with the citizens of the city of origin of the applicant. It represents a big opportunity for analysis and individuation of good practices and new strategies to improve multilinguistical skills. The project start date is October 1st and it will last for a total duration of 24 months. The two-year project activity will open with a Transnational Project Meeting, lasting three days, that launches SiE4E activities and the selection of good practices already in place at the schools; this will lead to the identification of the new strategy by March 30th 2016, involving a Staff of 21 people (7 for each partner schools, including executives, teachers, technicians and administrative staff), and facilitate future work aimed at identifying the strategy. At the end of the 6 months, the Staff will elaborate the first draft of the manual that makes applicable the strategy developed and defines the criteria to evaluate it during and at the end of the application; however, a final draft will be prepared at the end of the project. When the project is completed, there will be a final study of the activities, with relative presentation of the results obtained by the application of the strategy. Then, English teachers will be engaged in a week of physical mobility that continues with a virtual mobility, during all the 24 project months, through SiE4E web platform. In order to involve as many economically, physically and socially disadvantaged students as possible, each school partner will create a list. The students included in the lists will be invited, along with their families, to monthly local meetings taking place in each school during the first 12 months of the project, jointly with other 800 students and their families involved through publicity in the school, social networks and the web platform. In the next component, the new work out strategy will be applied through the implementation of 3 long-term English teaching assignments, lasting 2 months, in each school. From June 8th till 10th 2016 there will be the second Transnational Project Meeting in Checz Rep. that contineus, from June 11th to 13th with a first event of dissemination (seminar), to present the new strategy identified, from September 14th to 16th 2016, in Poland, there will be the divulgation annual Meeting to present the draft version of the Handbook that describes the strategy and the application. From October to December 2016 there will be student mobility, exchanges lasting a week to each of the partner schools. The next 4 implementation project months will be dedicated to obtained results verification and to make possible strategy modifications, while the last 4 months will be used to draft the final strategy handbook, to translate application guidelines and to publish the obtained results. All the communication tools will be translated into the partners languages and English.
