The objective of the ´Savigma´ project is to create a training programme for environmental managers and auditors, following the model of the European Organisation of Quality. This project is a response to regulations CE 1836on environmental management and ecological auditing in enterprise, and the ISO 14001norm. The project partners will design a training programme lasting 250hours. It will take place through a virtual Internet/Intranet platform, allowing both distance and traditional classroom learning. This pedagogical model will facilitate individual and continuing environmental protection training. Certification and accreditation of competencies obtained will be issued by the Spanish Association of Quality. This programme is targeted at staff in different enterprises, since all are affected by the environmental regulations. The greatest impact will be on the chemical, pharmaceutical and agro-food sector. Dissemination of this training programme will be targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises, so that their workers can follow and identify environmental regulations.
