The project aims at improving environmental monitoring and control practices and focuses on the improvement of sampling quality through better training for environmental samplers. It is based on the need for establishing uniform, high quality vocational training courses for environmental samplers with standardised exams as the basis of a certification of their competences. The project plans to develop course and exams materials to address the needs of people with varying educational background and language skills. Deliverables will include templates for course materials and exam forms, textbooks and exams questions for sampling of matrices and basic sampling.
