4 volunteers will do a 10-months EVS each at 3 different receiving organizations in France. 2 volunteers in Marseille and the other 2 near Lyon. Connecting factor of the project will be one of the biggest European festivals that is celebrated in 2016 in France: the European Football Championship UEFA EURO 2016. With this event in mind, the volunteers will work with young target groups in the context of non-formal youth work. Subjects to be transported within the actions will be interculturality, diversity, international mobility and gender equality. The volunteers are carefully introduced to the work with the target groups and will perform on the main stage of the project attractive promotions in the run-up phase to the European Football Championship in consideration of the above mentioned subjects in a team with employees of the receiving organizations. Here, among other activities, come hands-on activities, multimedia reports and leisure activities for young target groups that are inspired by the big event associated with the aforementioned subjects. It is planned that the volunteers also collaborate across the two cities during the run-up phase and carry out joint actions during the big event. The documentation of the activities and the results of the EVS project will be multimedial recorded and made available via online channels.
