The main activities of S.M.AR.T World (Stop Manipulation Around The World) project were carried out at Górki Wielkie between 5th and 12th of septembre 2015. Project brought together 24 participants (including leaders) from non- govermental youth organizations from four european countries: Poland, Estonia, Romania and Spain. The main objective of the project was to stimulate discussion and awareness of young people gathered around the theme of manipulation phenomen present in modern society. The main concept of the activities were based non formal education characteristic for international youth exchange.The main task of participants (young people between 18-30 years old) was the creation (directing, filming and assembling) of four short movies. The films presented the topic of manipulation seen through eyes of young european citizens. To facilitate work and communication in the process of creation videos, participants were divided into four groups of six people. The support activities organized during the youth exchange can be define as: team building and group integration games, ice-breakers, international cultural evenings, energizers, presentations, acting workshops, basics film production, creation of movie character, sessions of manipulation topic (for excample discussion based on "World Cafe" method), field games/ Questing, discussions, creativity workshops, light effects painting, visit of cartoon animation studio in Bielsko-Biała. Short films created during the exchange were presented at the official summarizing gala (09/11/2015) which took place in Katowice (Dom Oświatowy Biblioteki Śląskiej). The event of closing Gala was open for public (all citizens of the region). The main point of Gala was presentation of S.M.AR.T World short movies but also it was a place for lecture about media manipulation given by sociologist Sandra M. Hankus and the concertof jezz music.
The results of the exchange (videos and pictures) had been posted on the Internet, on the website of the project (www.smartworlderasmus.wordpress.com) and on YouTube (channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC45Ev7eoFIIK-_DORk5BAKA). The films were also presented 10/10/2015 under the eleventh edition of the Independent Film Festival kilOFF in Katowice.
