The staff (81) of our school filled out a questionnaire on their needs of in-serveice training for 2015 to 2017. Thirty-one returned the questionnaire, of which 23 stated they really need training to cope with the challenges of their work. They all also expressed their willingness to participate in trainings abroad. The need for training stood out especially in technology, didactics, English, adventure education, intercultural education and special education. Our objective is to provide training to as many teachers as possible and to ensure the dissemination of the acquired knowledge to anyone in the work community who could make use of it. Another objective is to encourage more teachers to international work by offering them this experience and new contacts. We aim to have 23 participants in the project. A selection board will select the persons and trainings that would best meet their educational needs. The final outcome of the project will be staff with no urgent training needs, staff sharing more educational information, which will lead to greater job satisfaction and better results overall. In addition, there will be more internationally aware and orientated teachers available for our future projects.
