RURALup! Exploring Innovative Solutions to support low-skilled people from rural areas

The main aim of this project is to build on existing innovative tools within the partnership, in order to support low-skilled rural communities in different EU countries to access education, training and the labour market. The specific objectives set in RURAL-UP! Project are: 1)Review and discover the situation of each territory in order to assess what are the main needs of the different stakeholders at partners’ regions through the development of a comprehensive Territorial Diagnose; 2)Explore innovative practices and tools within the partnership in order to elaborate a catalogue of successful practices which can be transferred from one territory to another and elaborate a Catalogue of Innovative Solutions for Rural Employment and Entrepreneurship; 3)The “Territorial Diagnose” and the “Catalogue of Innovative solutions for Rural Employment” will be the base upon which partners will design their Local Itineraries for Training and Entrepreneurship (LITEs). These Local Itineraries will be tailored to each territory, its population, its resources, etc.; 4)Develop Capacity-building and Exchange Transnational Workshops in order to transfer know-how, to build capacity of professionals involved in the project, to transfer innovation; 5)Design an integrated Dissemination and Communication strategy in order to dinamize local networks and disseminate project results and products extensively. Through these specific objectives the RURAL-UP! Project will produce the following expected results: a) Mobilise adult learners & stakeholders; b) Motivate adult learners underrepresented in lifelong learning to commit to learning; c) Ensure access to training opportunities for adult people living in rural areas; d) Provide with a personalized learning path adapted to the territory resources, businesses’ needs and people’s aspirations; e) Support local businesses so that they can grow and bring income and employment opportunities to the territory
