Rural Education Centres for a Sustainable Future

Bringing together 9 partners from 6 countries, the project targeted rural communities, specifically those in Central and Eastern Europe, with a view to introducing the Scandinavian folk high-school model for the development of learning and skills in the fields of health and ecology, art and crafts, ICT and personal and social development. Having tested and transferred a range of educational tools and materials across the 6 partne rcountries, materials were subsequently rolled-out to all recipient countries. The primary output for the project comprised an adult education module and toolbox.
