The project aims to support the field of micro and small enterprises, through the dissemination of miniaturization technology in the agro-food processing, in accordance with safety, quality and phytosanitary standards. Miniaturization technology is characterized by portable, small sized, low cost machinery, which maximize the use of renewable energy sources. Miniaturized lines contribute to the production of canned and dehydration of food products with the use of solar panels. Expected Results: The creation of a companies network involved in food processing, with the participation of professional associations; Transfer of knowledge, information and expertise on miniaturization technology. Experimentation of miniaturized lines at micro and small enterprises level, by cooperation agreements. Improvement of local resources; reduction of negative impacts on the environment. Ensuring a stronger enterprises sustainability in rural areas. Moreover, the applied miniaturized technology allows to meet the demand for processing new agrofood products, to maximize productive and climatic features of the territories concerned, to use raw materials and products in the involved areas.
