The theme is ‘how to use innovative methods to attract, engage and work with young people with fewer opportunities.Ruckenwind is a pan-European initiative to develop new approaches to EVS for the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities. Rückenwind started in 2005 and since that it has resulted in participation many young people with a range of serious challenges, and the direct participation of youth and social workers. Since 2011 Rückenwind is a formal Network within the YOUTH IN ACTION PROGRAMME, funded by the Austrian NA.The initiative has created genuinely new methods for inclusion, and the work continues with this training course, which will train youthworkers and YIA users. The TC explains the YiA inclusive philosophy and opportunities and provide in-depth training on the methods and results so far.Young people with fewer opportunities is the centrepiece of the activity. We are genuinely reaching out to young people who really need the opportunity, but who have very significant barriers that prevent them taking part without the level of support we offer. How to do this is the main focus of this traing course.
