In order to participate in the project Erasmus plus, the third-class full-time study students with the field of study - Nursing Assistant; and the first and the second- class students with the field of study - General Diploma Sister, will take part in the exchange professional practice.The main aim is to verify and improve the competences and skills while working with patients and also in wider interpersonal relationships. We plan two weeks long exchange stay for students: The first flow : from 16.9.2014 to 30.9.2014 – 2 weeks : 7 students + 1 leader The second flow : from 31.5. 2015 to 13.6. 2015 – 2 weeks : 8 students + 1 leader The place of professional practise – ADC College London, UK, workplace of healtcare facilities. Project objectives are: -to encourage the development of key competences of the students of the selected disciplines in practice abroad, -to become acquainted with the latest trends in the treatment of the ill, which are applied in the health care facilities, -development of communication skills and language competences. The students will acquire independence in work, improve their nursing skills, become acquainted with the organisation structure of the local nursing institutions, they will check their knowledge of the foreign language in the interpersonal relationships among the staff and the patients, will become acquainted with the socio-historical and cultural peculiarities of the country. The accompanying persons will be monitoring them during their practice and will include new knowledge to their education in the following time. The implementation of the project, the aims, and the outcomes will be presented and published on the school, local, regional and national level.
