The objective of our participation in this project is 1. to improve the English language knowing competence of the pedagogical staff, to introduce new educational methods in work with IT, as well as to increase the competitiveness at the international level; 2. to accomplish teaching and studies sphere – to learn English and Latvian languages, using modern and innovative techniques; 3. to develop new educational material for english and latvian subjects, improving teachers and students IT skills, the motivation of language learning, developing the information receiving and skills processing in culturology. For nowadays education and technologies have to become not only as student`s everyday life, but as well as teacher`s, which helps to motivate and engage in learning process every adolescent, thinking about the future it always was important to do necessary actions today, that is why we want to join the project with enthusiasm, which will help to master new knowledge and skills for students and teachers, simultaneously to acquire the unique experience of learning and use of technology, which is useful throughout life. In the project engaged 9 regular teachers – teachers of English and Latvian subjects, who: 1. follow the latest tendencies in education, 2. express the willingness, 3. capable to work in the project. Good English knowledge and skills are necessary for teachers of Latvian, to master and/or develop modern IT use in teaching process. The teachers involved in the project: 1. will improve skills to work in the multicultural environment, 2. will deepen IT skills, to develop the quality of teaching and learning English and Latvian languages; 3. Teacher`s English level will be improved to get higher probability to exchange the skills among the colleagues from different countries during the project. 4. mastered IT using skills and taken innovations from other countries will allow for project participants to become more successful in their practical activities. 5. teachers, who continue self-education are acquisition for school and for students, awakening the interest in improvement, to develop their skills and competence. Acquisitions of the project`s participation: 1. self-esteem improvement; 2. new experience and skills mastering; 3. IT base is created.
