RISE for quality in youth work

The project "RISE for quality in youth work" it's a 5 days seminar (Action 4.3) that will take place between 19-25 May 2013 in Mölndal, Sweden. The project will bring together 20 participants, from Romania, Ireland, Sweden and Estonia who will work on the theme of quality assessment of youth work and youth policy. The aim of the seminar is to start a process (based on previous discussions) of formulating common ideas on youth work and building common systems for documentation and evaluation of work processes and results. The objectives of the seminar are:- to present our different systems for documentation, quality evaluation and competence development as well as refining and merging them into a common model;- to present our different systems/methods for documentation of and work with young people's non-formal learning;- to build structures for future cooperation around using our common models for quality assemssment and development of youth workers and youth work;- to build a platform and a network for future cooperation around EVS and youth exchanges.The seminar will be based on non-formal learning and working methods like thematical introductions, presentations, group discussions, study visits, workshops, round tables and benchmarking. This will involve a large range of activities such as sharing of good practices and working togheter in finding ways to apply them to different local conditions.
