The Federation of the volunteering of Verona ONLUS is a non profit association that manages the Service Centre of Volunteering of the Province of Verona. The association has differents objectives such as the promotion of volunteering and the culture of solidarity between young people, by giving them informations about local associations and projects and also european opportunities. We belive that the participation of european volunteers in projects of solidarity that are strongly connected with the local community is very usefull to promote the active cittizenship. Morevover the Federation has the objective thanks to this project to diffuse the idea of active participation of young people in local community, to propose volunteering experiences in different fields to allow volunteers to reflect on various types of experiences such as disability, youngsters problems, old people, intercultural dialog. Also, we would like to increase the competences and knowlege of the volunteering associations about the possibilities to welcome european volunteers and finally to offer to european volunteers a formative experience and increase their professionals and personals skills. We propose to welcome one volunteer for 8 month from the 01 of March until the 01 of October 2015 that will have to be motivated for the themes that we developp as Federation (youth politics, european projects, mobility promotion, partnership research), to have a disposition for office work, to be able to work in a team, to adapt in a different environment, to have a will to get to know the association world, to be open with his coworkers. To the volunteer, it will not be asked to have specific competence other than to be between 17 and 30 years old. The EVS volunteer will be integrated in the youth sector "Young people and volunteering, EVS sector", and will support us with all the activities from this sector. For example, he/she will help to promoto young people activities thanks to different technics such as the use of social media (internet, facebook...), he/she will help with the promotion of volunteering in the schools areas from the veronese territory thanks to direct testimonial on the EVS experience and the Erasmus+ Programm, supported by the responsible of the sector, he/she will help to do research partnership for future collaboration for Erasmus+ projects (contact with accredidated associations for EVS, presentation of the hosting association etc), in the management of the promotional part of the EVS and the Erasmus+ project thanks to the Facebook page of the Federation with the daily publication of news or direct testimonials or other volunteers in service, in managing the wbsite of the Federation in the EVS part and the possibilities to do volunteering abroad, in the creation of materials, flyers, brochure about European Volunteer Service, videos and other promotional materials. The partecipant will be inserted in the activities thanks to the methods of non formal education, learning by doing.He/she will be included in different sectors managed by different collaborators , we will explain how the youth sector works and will be included in the different activities carried out, we will also gice space to the volunteer to propose his/her ideas or to develop his/her personal project. With this project, we hope to include all the volunteering associations and to promote the possibilities of the Erasmus+ project in the youth mobility sector, we hope to see grow personaly the volunteer with the competences that he/she could acquire during his/her service from a personal and professional point of view, competences such as independance, self management, the discovery of the association worls, active cittiizenship, tollerance. Finally we think to diffuse on the territory the possibilities of the Erasmus+ Porgramm, of the EVS and the services that we give in the veronese territory.
