Secondary school students (aged 15-18) and teachers from Spain, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and Denmark, develop a European Partnership in order to promote Research as an educational tool. The project activities will focus on cooperative learning, use of English language and ITC, learning by doing, problem solving and key competences for Lifelong Learning and the learning communities will be involved in the development of European Citizenship values. The products and outcomes will be disseminated through different mass-media channels. Research in High Schools is an activity with great profits for the students. The previous experiences ensure the academic success of the students who have developed a scientific research during this period. However, this resource is used in very different ways in the European schools and nations. The next two years we will study the state of research in the Secondary Schools of the members of the European Union, considering the regulation, the resources, the acceptance among the students and the results. A review will be carried out and we will create regional and European models of implementation and improvement of Research as a method of increasing the students' skills. These models will be proposed to our regional authorities and to the European Commission. In addition, different students teams (multinational members in each team) will be created to develop their own research projects in different fields (nature, social, languages).
