RENEWABLE FUTURES
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: Dec 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

In response to recent quests for a more sustainable future, The Renewable Futures (RF) project aims to invent new avenues for developments of tomorrow - in culture and creative sector on the European level. We believe that the key of success for achieving cultural sustainability lies into our ability to become more open and susceptible to new ideas, approaches and collaborations. The RF project will shape new contact zones between traditionally separated domains bringing together art and science, culture and digital technologies, sustainable businesses and social engagement of the 21st century. The main objectives of the RF project are geared towards:- achieving higher level of transnational and trans-disciplinary cooperation by building new European Creative Alliance and Think Tank;- establishing links with new and enlarged audiences and testing new models for deepening relationship with the them by carrying out extensive public innovation and audience development programme;- fostering open innovations to be applied in cultural sector by establishing a material base for emerging art, science and digital fabrication labs; - contributing in cultural sustainability by supporting the growth of 'creative labour' sector. In order to achieve the RF project objectives, an extensive activity programme will be implemented by partners including:1. Creative WorkLab Series – on art, science and digital fabrication that will take place throughout the Europe;2. Renewable Futures – new conference and travelling exhibition series (RF2015 and RF2016);3. Creative Apprenticeship Programme and Exchanges;4. Partner Meetings (and Press Conferences);5.
