Our project is a training course treating poverty problem. The reason that we do this project is to see as NGO’s what we are doing and what we can do about poverty. We will work out methods to struggle poverty and we will try to find new ways. · We will define poverty · We will understand the reasons and consequences of poverty, · We will examine poverty data’s and criterions of poverty, · To understand affection of local authorities and what kind of pressure group needed, · To define the duties of youth NGO’s to struggle against poverty in the frame of EU plan to fight against poverty, · We will make common decisions to fight against poverty with youth employment Countries participating the project are Turkey, Portugal, Poland, Latvia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Romania and Slovenia. 2 participants from every country will participate. There will be 2 trainer and 1 support staff from Turkey. Project activities are educational sessions with poverty theme, workshops, simulation and briefings. We will use non formal education methods. We expect youth NGO’S to make campaigns and force local authorities to fight against poverty after the project. They will open employment courses for youngsters to give them job opportunities.
