The workshop is split into two parts. For the first three days the group is split into smaller groups that undertake a number of short workshops and visits. The aim is to make participants get to know each other, the town and start the concept development that then the make good use of in the second part. The project leaders give the responsibility to participants on the forth day. The participants will then decide what they will produce, how and with whom. By the end of the second part is an opening where the public is invited to join the group to enjoy the outcome of the hard work, but there are also small openings throught the second week of the project. Since 2012 Reitir has seen a great increase in the publics involvement and interest in the workshop and through a direct collaboration and social dialogue with people in town, Reitir aims to become even more rooted in the social landscape of Siglufjörður.
