This tool supports prediction and avoidance of possible complications during regional anaesthesia providing a precise anatomy of every single patient. The new virtual reality platform would both train medical doctors and assist them while performing regional anaesthesia – including so called spinal anaesthesia or an epidural, which are applied frequently for women giving birth and C-sections.
