REFLECT – Pratiche riflessive per la formazione-formatori
This project is aimed at establishing a widely articulated methodology for the improvement of capabilities of VET teachers and of other relevant actors in training and learning processes in different socio-economic contexts – concerning the implementation of reflective practices within their activities, i.e. those methodologies able to discover and valorise the implicit and unexpected outcomes of the teacher/trainer practice. It is a mode that involves thinking about and critically analysing one`s actions with the goal of improving one`s professional practice. Target groups are VET staff working in institutions, research and consulting staff in formal or informal learning surroundings, and university staff specialised in train-the trainer programmes. Main objectives are the development of new tools for teaching and learning, and to create adequate background perspectives for implementing such tools. Planned results will be: (1) a methodology for VET teachers and other relevant actors in training and learning processes in different socio-economic contexts, (2) a virtual community devoted to share know-how and information among the European practitioners and researchers, (3) a printed book in three languages, (4) the adoption of the manual in trainers-training University courses. Furthermore website, working groups, and reports. The project results are intended to be considered sustainable and effective in the context of dissemination also to other European regions beyond the partnership. The valorisation strategy bases on the partners’ networks, and foresees among other media website dissemination, publications in different forms and in partner languages, national and international conferences, specialised reviews, PR activities and materials. The expected impact of the project will be an integration and implementation into the VET and other training areas and systems and in the development of innovative skills and qualifications for the target groups/-institutions.
