rECOncile - Rethinking the European Economy, Ecology, and their Interactions

Proposal rECOncile provides research-led excellence in teaching and learning at the intersection of two fundamental areas of EU policy -- the internal market and environmental policy and law -- and their multiple interactions in “value reconciliation” through an international cross-section of doctoral, post-graduate and graduate students. The objective is pursued by advancing cutting-edge blended learning formats, strong inter-disciplinarity, inter-generationality and policy relevance by updating three existing courses and creating three novel courses. The six ACTIVITES offer skills and knowledge holistically, focusing on the substance (1, 2, 4, 6), process (3) and methodologies to research (5) the fields in question. They are offered in collaboration with universities in Belgium, other EU Member States and the US.
