ReColoring YOUth Work

TEAM FOR YOUTH ASSOCIATION is planning to implement a Training Course that concentrates on consolidating youth work instruments regarding projects designed for inclusion. The project targets participants that have little or no experience in writing and implementing projects that deal with socially discriminated categories, especially Roma people. The activities are designed also with the purpose of rising awareness for the participants about the lifestyle of Roma groups in our area.The project will be implemented in the city of Baia Mare, Romania. 12 participants from 6 countries (Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Italy, Georgia and Portugal) will be hosted here for 5 days (excluding travel days) and will take part in discussions, training sessions, workshops, presentations, all based on non-formal learning methods and, more important, interaction. Most of the meetings with the participants will try to bring added value to the information presented by adding colours and visual effects as methods of teaching. As stated before, the main topic of the training course will be the consolidation of youth projects that have as main concern involving youngsters that belong to groups that are usually marginalized, especially Roma communities. In order to achieve this major goal T4UTH team established as general objectives:- To disseminate correct and complete information about Youth in Action Programme and international youth cooperation to 12 participants from 6 countries;- To prepare 12 youth workers for future projects that involved marginalized groups;- To participate in the empowering of the European network of partners in YiA.
