Apprentis d'Auteuil wants to develop actions of mobility for the young people it welcomes . It seems imperative to develop their mobility to best support their socio-professional insertion. These European exchanges intended to enable them to establish social ties with youth from another culture, to inspire them and develop their openness. Apprentis d'Auteuil pushes its institutions to develop partnerships at least over the medium term to allow a good knowledge of both parties and allow an exchange of interesting practices while providing mobility possible for young they host. It is in this dynamic that the children home St. Jean Eudes wished to register. Thus , in line with the international management of Apprentis d'Auteuil, we found a partner and also a children home in Greece to achieve a youth exchange , while allowing adults to exchange information about their educational practices. A group of 12 boys and girls from 13 to 18, leave to meet a team like Greek , from 7 to 21 July 2014 . They will be accompanied by eight French or Greek supervisors , a large number of supervisors given the problems of youth. The driver of the exchange wire is conducting a fresco mural that summarize all exchanges , learning , discovery stay . This achievement is also the symbol of the beginning of a partnership between The Smile of The Child and the etablishment Saint Jean Eudes. To achieve this fresco , we will organize several workshops to soak up the Greek culture , including Corfu cooking workshop , fresco workshop, studio visit / walks. All these activities , prepared and carried out with young people in each country, will be a learning support and an evaluation of each tool , fostering self-esteem. In addition, youth and adults will speak English for 2 weeks . Throughout the stay, French and Greek have to heart to testify about what they are going through a logbook. These writings will be included in a blog where my friends and family can follow the place of stay and share this experience with youth. For this project, a preparatory visit is scheduled for April to refine the organization and initiate the first exchanges between young people. The preparation phase will last until the departure of young French : administrative preparation, health , cultural and fundraising. The project will be finalized through a phase of restitution where young people can share their experiences . In parallel, the parties support young adults may exchange with Greek professionals in their teaching and educational methods. Upon their return, a return of observations and discoveries will be made to all staff of the children home . We hope it stay put with the first stone of a real exchange that , in turn , youth and Greek adults may come to discover in France specificities and similarities between our two countries .
