Ready for Rockola exchange will bring together youngsters from five countries; Finland, Portugal, Russia, Germany and Spain, they are from different cultures and backgrounds but they have a common interest, these youngsters are connected through the global language of music. Ready for Rockola offers the youngsters a change to feel a connection with other youngsters, learn from each other and different cultures, musical styles and opportunity to build a band in just one week. During the exchange the participants will practice together with other musicians, with different musical backgrounds. The participants of the exchange will plan and rehearse a multicultural cultural happening, experimental musical event to local youngsters. Event will be held on the last day of the camp together with bands and local musicians in front of the local youngsters. The performance will add a fresh multicultural spirit to the other performances held in Kokkola. It will be a common efford to all participants which will ask them teamwork, persistancy and quite a bit of planning and practicing together. Exchange will take place in Kokkola at 3-10.8.2014 (6+2 travel days) Cost of the exchange will be 70€/participant. All participants have to have also travel insurance for the duration of the exchange, participants will be insured by city of Kokkola for the duration of the exchange. Same principle is being used during the APV on 24.-27.7.2014. Size of the groups will be 1+9 and the activities are planned for 15-20 years old people, musically orienteered youngsters. During the week workshops will be held by partners, leading musicians and artists. Advance planning visit will be held on 25.-27.7.2014 (1+2 travel days, leader and 1 group member from each country) during the advanced planning visit the program for the exchange will be finalized. Program is planned by participants, there will be musical and cultural workshops, jam sessions, organized and free musical training, performance in front of live audition and leading artist and musicians who keep workshops and help youngsters to organize the event.
