The project ’ReActing’ will be held in Bánk, Hungary, in April, 2017, involved 18-25 years old youngsters from Cyprus, Croatia, Romania, Lithuania, Slovakia and Hungary. 30 young people (+6 group leaders) – including disadvantaged participants - will work together during the exchange. The project promotes environmental awareness and active participation of young people based on the principles of non-formal education. They will learn about others’ culture, but also how to meet, accept, share their ideas, to show an interest in cooperation and communication with young people from other European countries. At the same time they understand better the ecological problems deeper, its influence in our daily life and they have the possibility to make the first steps into a more responsible life.The result of this project will be a theater performance in a high-school which is presented to the students, partners and teachers. The play will promote environmental protection, recycle and ecological issues and its solutions. The main objectives we would like to reach with the participants during the project are:- to be more aware of environmental problems, - to use recycling and reusing techniques in everyday life,- be open to other cultures,- develop their creativity, self-confidence and self-expression,- share their own ideas and point of view.
