This 3 and a half months-long project consists of a seven-day youth exchange as its main activity. Its main aim is to enhance the comprehension of today's global environmental issues. The main topic of the youth exchange is 'environment' and 'art&culture'. Using various forms of art (such as Streetart: graffiti, Art from trash, Fire art & design, Underground Comix, VJ visual video art: Audio-visual Art and VJ Culture, Unconventional Lamps & Lighting Designs, Stencil art, Printing art on t-shirts, Lone, Wood and stone carving, Dijeridoo, Percussion) and culture we will provide a learning space for youth with fewer opportunities.Four promoters from four countries (Albania, Hungary, Romania and Serbia) will take part in this activity where we will host 20 participants.The venue place will be at a rural community camp near Subotica, Serbia^ between 01/09/2009-09/09/2009.Objectives of this youth exchange are:-promotion of art and culture as tools for dealing with and learning about environmental issues-inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities in active participation in future projects?-promotion of rural sights and environmentally-friendly ways of everyday-living-learning about global enviromnental issues and finding ways of dealing with these issues on alocal levelThrough structurised thematic workshops and with the use of non-formal education by the inclusion of art&culture as tools, we will provide a safe learning-space, where participants can creatively, freely, and open-mindedly share, discuss, comment and express through art their understanding and learning of environmental issues in an intercultural setting.The project will be followed by a very unique art exhibion of the arts created during the exchange.
