Rainbow of Change is the project that, through an European Voluntary Service of the Youth in Action Program of the European Comision, brought together 7 Romanian volunteers in Rosario, Argentina. For 6 months they are going to use their variety of skills and experience in order to stimulate the development of creative thinking of young people, as a solution generator for major problems in society. Young people in Rosario, will have the opportunity to participate to many activities that will help them dealing with conflict situations in their lives, will support them in approaching a career and will raise their awareness on healthy life and environmental issues. With the support of “Agenda Global Siglo 21”, the volunteers will organize English classes through drama, debates on human rights workshops on non-discrimination, HIV, documentary filming, Creative recycling and other activities like Living Library, Forum theater, Street delivery etc. Due to a social research the volunteers will conduct in their first month in Rosario, themes and methodology of the workshops will be adapted to the needs and interests of the specific target group. Press conference and weblog will keep local and international NGOs as well as potential and former participants, posted with the news about “Rainbow of Change” results and news. Actors of change will be born out of this project, inspiration and creativity will touch youth both from South America and Europe, collaboration and many initiatives will arise.
