RADIOactivity is not always a bad thing!
Start date: Aug 15, 2015, End date: Aug 14, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Through the project "RADIOactivity is not always a bad thing!" the participating EVS volunteers will gain informal knowledge on independent radio production. The volunteers will be part of the radio team and will thus (co)create the radio program of Maribor student radio – MARŠ. With their work, their cultural-specific point of view, own experiences and knowledge, the volunteers will give added value and enrich the radio program. Through team work and socializing with the local radio team all those involved will (further) develop their intercultural, interpersonal and social competences, including youth working at the radio and youth listeners to the radio program. During their stay and work at the project volunteers will also gain other key competences like knowledge of foreign languages, cultural expression, independence and personal initiative (creating own content and projects), flexibility, motivation and others. Thus they will be empowered to work in creative and socially-critical processes, become more autonomous and better equipped on their future career path. Project partners include 2 partner organisations from other countries, which will strengthen the bonds between participating organisations and lay groundwork for future collaboration.
