Quality Procedures and Indicators in Vocational and Education Training - Procedimentos e Indicadores da Qualidade em Educação e Formação Profissional
The project aims to promote the implementation of the quality management system in training organisations through the development and validation of a set of quality procedures and indicators for VET according to the Common Quality Assurance Framework and covering the formative process cycle from the training needs analysis till the evaluation, both in initial and continuing vocational training. The problem addressed by the project is the need of raising the quality of training by improving the effectiveness of training (either initial or continuing vocational training) by raising the customer satisfaction but also the match to the needs of the labour market and the measurement of the training quality must be based not only on the respective efficiency but also and especially on its effectiveness, responding in this way to the priorities established at European level through the (TWG). To reach the objectives the partnership, 8 partners in 5 countries, will go through the following activities: development of diagnostic tools and apply them to get the state of the art in quality procedures and indicators at national level; conception of the PROquality reference framework with the necessary set of procedures, indicators, terminology, metrics, monitoring systems as well as examples of good practice among other supports. The products resulting of this work are mainly the diagnostic tools and the reference framework itself with the implementation guide and is addressed to all training providing organisations wishing to implement a quality management system.
