Besides the VET students of all professions trained at the BbS Syke an increasing amount of VET students envisaging the extracurricular qualification European Management Assistant will be fostered. In combination with the learners´ mobility they can acquire the module "International work experience".
The results of membership in the Europe an EREIVET network is basis for the VET traineeship mobility.
The work with learning outcomes agreed on a high quality level of repeated and long experience of all partners involved should be continued. Our professional partners from the World of Work play an essential role by supporting the BbS Syke EUROPASCHULE in choosing the right host company and in coordinating the learning outcomes. Results thereof are to be evaluated based on the staff mobilities in CarNET and IVET-13 networks and to be documented in the Europass mobility. The acquired competences are to be described and evaluated on a 5-level scale.
Staff mobility (in Eurocom partner network):
There have been profitable student exchanges during years between the European network colleges, but the World of Work has expressed the difficulties in understanding the learning goals and evaluation sheets of arriving students, so it is important to clarify the common learning outcomes for the students and to design common evaluation sheets in order to evaluate and validate the learning outcomes, eliminate differences between participating countries and to transfer the credits to the home institutions.
Another important aspect is to improve and secure the quality and quantity of students' mobilities by implementing work units and assessment sheets according to the ECVET standard.
The acquired results are intended to have an impact not only on the quality of the various mobilities but also on to be developed curricula based on learning outcomes for the different professions. Therefore not only students that had a chance to go abroad can profit from this effect but even those who had to stay at home will experience the influence in their studies.
Working with the ECVET processes before, during and after the students' exchanges will give the teachers and mentoring staff tools to assess, recognize and validate learning outcomes. In this respect it can be made more transparent which knowledge, skills and competences the single student should reach.
The main intended activities comprise the description of knowledge, skills and competences, the suggestions for activity units as well as the detailed work on the structure/content of the assessment documents, the learning agreement and the learning outcomes.
At the same time the involved educational institutes will learn the toolkit of the ECVET which will enhance the internationalization of the participating partners from colleges and the World of Work. Therefore the project will take an important role in the improvement of the partner’s professional, lingual and social skills which are needed in building up careers.
We regard our role in providing the professional educational support on a diverse international level. As a result our focus is on the support of students in the dual system as well as the VET staff. Previously gained experience and competences are to be integrated and improved as best practice examples in order to strive for excellence in the future.
