The project "The Power of Action 4", will be a 9-month EVS project for 2 Italian volunteers. The volunteer service will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia, near the community of IDPs (Internal Displaced People) just outside the city. The 9 months of service will allow volunteers to expand their knowledge in the field of international cooperation and non-formal education, and will give them a better understanding the priorities and daily activity of an NGO that works closely with young people (particularly in the region EECA: Eastern Europe and the Caucasus) by carrying out activities for Georgian refugees and will give the skills for collaborating to resolution of conflicts in a pacific way. Thanks to the network of the Hosting Organization, volunteers will attend local and international seminars and will be encouraged to develop personal initiative during their EVS activity. All activities will be organized together with members of the HO and will be addressed to young Georgians and displaced persons of the place in order to make them aware of the various possibilities of volunteering and no-formal education. The main purpose of the project will be to help the HO in providing local and international activities and events for and with young displaced Georgians. Furthermore, the working area will involve international networking and intercultural communication with different EU countries (including the service of the volunteers to make a contribution to both), and certainly a huge part of the project will be devoted and dedicated to the preparation and the encouragement of the integration of Georgian local minorities and youth into the EU area.
