The international youth exchange on subject „Puppet theater“ (19.02-29.02.2016) will be joined by 25 young people and 5 group leaders from Palestine, Serbia, Turkey, Belarus and Germany. All participants are actively involved into volunteer work with children and teenagers in the native places. As a follow-up to this youth meeting they are supposed to take part as volunteers in a newly initiated Puppet theater project and organize performances for children throughout next 18 months in their native places. By the time of this meeting taken place in Hannover and Harz, the participants divided into working groups will discuss one of the following topics (Friendship, Tolerance, Protection of the Environment, Identity) and develop puppet-theater-performances for children. While working together the participants will be promoted in the fields as follows (Staging of plays, Pedagogy, Dramatic art, Language/Voice and Plays, Interaction, Puppet building, Stage property, Playing with puppets, Stage Setting). This knowledge will be applied immediately by developing their own plays, which finally will be staged for each other.
