During preparation of the project, we decided that its objectives will be gaining by the participants new professional and language qualifications(in line with the expectations of local and regional businesses) and personal competences by going on abroad internship .
Those project goals are consistent with the objectives of the Erasmus program +:
- Contribute to increasing the level of crucial competences and skills to match labor market needs;
- Contribute to the improvement of language skills and to promote linguistic and cultural diversity in the EU;
- Expand the international dimension of education and training .
The project participants will be school students of 2, 3, 4 year of technical specializations : IT technician , agribusiness technician and landscape architecture technician( all of them are learing English in foreign language school), a total of 40 trainees. After completing the preparation course , trainees will go(divided into four groups) for a three-week long internships in different types and sizes of enterprises and agro-tourism in Italy. The project will be run for two years. In the school year 2014/15 two groups(each group of 10 trainees and one guardian) will leave for internships. Identical group will leave for internships in the year 2015/16 . After completion of the placement and return to school, trainees will prepare: on-line filled report, presentations outlining their participation in the project, an photo exhibition from internships, possibly other materials to disseminate the results . After closing conference, their participation in the project will end but the results of it will be a long lasting and have enormous impact on their professional and personal life.
The most important hard results of the project are:
- Receiving by participants, certificates of completion new language course;
- Receiving by participants, trainship preparation course certificates issued by the school;
- Receiving by the participants, an internship certificate , issued by the partner organizations ;
- Receiving by the project participants Europass Mobility ;
Soft results include :
- Gaining new professional knowledge and skills which increase trainees chances on labor market ;
- Learning new language skills ;
- Gaining the ability to work in a international team and communicate in foreign language,
- Improving professional and personal aspirations of participants;
- Acceptance and tolerance for different habits and behaviors ;
- Knowledge of history, culture and customs of the host country.
Material products of the project will include :
- A collection of photos and videos made by participants during internships and other phases of the project .
- Or trainnes blogs;
- Presentation outlining the project from different perspectives(individually by interns from different professions and employees of the project);
- Materials collected during evaluation of the project , useful for planning and implementation of similar projects in the future.
During the implementation of the project, methodology procedure will be based on a clear division of tasks and on principle of constant supervision over all project activities. From the first phase (creating objectives of the project) to the last (popularisation and closure of the project ) documentation will be collected, and the responsibilities of project employees team will be well-defined.
The project will be for the participants of a great opportunity to test their independence, will improve their self-esteem, strenghten their confidence. Working abroad(often in multinational team) will enable them knowing and understanding the value of cultural diversity in Europe. Observing these changes in attitudes and skills of participants will encourage other students of the school in efforts to increase, broaden their skills and to gain work experience during school education. Project partners will expand their knowledge, gain new experiences useful in developing international activities. School representatives and foreign partners, who work in the project will get to know people raised in a different cultures. This will contribute to development of their sensitivity to issues of intercultural dialogue, custom and behavioral diversity of customs in other European countries .With the implementation of the entire project ZSP in Niemce, as the organizer will gain experience in international cooperation , increase its prestige and popularity among young people, which should improve recruitment.
