Our nursery mainly focuses on developing children's multiperceptional knowledge about the world, the sense of belonging to a family group, community, nation, European country as well as professional work of our teaching stuff. Taking children, parents and our teaching staff's needs into consideration, qualifications of the teaching staff are constantly upgraded, which counts for greater quality of work in our nursery. The project, "Preschooler as an active European", is designed to develop preschoolers' talents and to shape their intellectual curiosity essential in everyday situations as well as further education. Providing children with better educational opportunities by encouraging their curiosity and independence play a very important role in education. The project is to bring children closer to the culture and tradition of European countries. We are willing to expand their curiosity about the world as well as develop their openness and tolerance toward other European Nations.The purpose of the project is to:1.improve language learning skills by teachers and nursery non-teaching stuff to raise their professional competence and thus to increase the quality of work in the workplace2.increase sensitivity to the linguistic and cultural diversity in the context of children's literature, both Polish and European cuisine that aims at fostering the knowledge of preschoolers and their awareness of cultural differences3.shape preschoolers' respect, tolerance and solidarity in relation to other Nations4.integrate nursery education as well as the ability to cooperate with others, to exchange experiences and to share the knowledge gained5.increase children's motivation and satisfaction6.achieve greater understanding and sensitivity to the diversity of social, linguistic and cultural aspects by the teaching staff.The project participants and their main activities undertaken within the framework of mobility: 1. Pre-primary foreign language teachers- methodological and enhancing language learning skills courses. They allow wider use of eTwinning platform for implementation of international projects and active seeking for foreign partners to cooperate. The courses also aim at developing methodological skills essential for enhancing classes as well as sharing given knowledge and expertise with other institutions, including Europe. 2. Superintendent- the need to improve language learning skills and interpersonal relations in order to manage the team more effectively to motivate teachers to further self-development, loose contact and cooperation with foreign partners. 3. Secretary, teaching assistant, administrative secretary -the ability to communicate in direct speech with foreign parents, integration and cooperation with language teachers, perfect team cooperationSelected specific actions and methodology used in the project:1. The analysis of project participants' individual needs and their mobility. Monitoring the process of acquiring knowledge and new skills within th course. 2. The ability to use certain skills developed by project participants to create innovative educational opportunities for learning. Developing effective ways and creative ideas to use certain methodology and abilities to work with children. 3. It is important that the project influences the implementation of the European Development programme- staff meeting, teamwork, interviews, changes in work concept of the whole nursery, ideas for writing your own project of "Preschooler as an active European"The project will hopefully contribute to teachers' language learning skills improvement that will influence their professional image and deep desire for self-development; modern teaching methods implementation with the use of materials and information to create activities which will definitely enhance foreign language learning; the expamsion of projects within the eTwinning platform; excellent cooperation that influences knowledge transfer and skills between workers. The potential long-term benefits:1. The quality of education ought to be enhanced due to childten and patents' needs and expectations 2. The project raises awareness of the whole working staff that gives a desire to learn foreign language as well as the possibility of self-improvement3. The project influences the quality of cooperation with the kindergarten in Norway, which will foster the exchange of experiences more effectively. 4. It gives active opportunities to find collaboration with kindergartens from other European countries that will give a hand to widen the European dimension of our nursery and hopefully, will make it possible to participate in the action of Erasmus programme KA2 + in the nearest future 5. It influences active work of parents as well as community6. It increases children's positive attitude toward openness, respect, tolerance for other Nations and builds creativity that is vital for knowledge aquisition and for the next stages in education
