The transition from school to work is an important step in the career of young people. In many European countries an increasing number of young people - especially with immigrant background - experience difficulties at this stage of their personal development. The goal of the project “Go4Job” was to change the described situation. For that reason educational and training institutions from Europe collaborated in order to develop an internet based platform "Go4jJob" on occupational orientation and choice - which offers an alternative support concerning the transition from school to work for young people - based on digital information and qualification modules (IQ-Modules) and virtual communication types as podcast, blogs or wikis.
