The Job shadowing project will involve 5 youth workers from Programme countries- UK, Turkey, Lithuania, Hungary and Romania. The project will take place in Plymouth, UK between September and November 2016. Duration of activity stages is 10 days. The objectives of the project are to:- equip youth workers with key competences and methods needed for transferring the common fundamental values of European society ( equality, diversity and tolerance) to local communities and those from disadvantaged background.- increase knowledge of Erasmus+ programme and opportunities available- improve English language skills• Increase creativity and motivation.- Increase intercultural awareness - Enhance capacity of the organisations and informal groups to participate in Erasmus+ projects .- Enhance cooperation between the organisations and international dimension of the activities they organise with disadvantaged young people.During the activity stage, the participants will increase their knowledge of addressing equality, diversity and tolerance in different situations, different educational settings and increase awareness of diversity within local community that, in turn, will help disadvantaged group to feel more equal and less socially excluded. The project is in line with Erasmus+ aims and objectives such as improving competences of youth workers, linked to their professional profile, promoting cultural awareness, increasing of capacity, international dimension.The common need for all involved is to enhance their knowledge of diversity and equality, methods to meet the needs of their target groups and modernise their current activities to promote diversity, equality and tolerance towards people from diverse background, They also need to enhance their international cooperation, build partnership for future project on international level.
