The aim of our project is a student exchange of Finnish and German vocational trainees in the car mechanics sector.Within the project 14 participants (trainees and teachers) get to know the educational system of another EU- member. Students will find out what they have in common and learn about the differences in vocational training.During the exchange they work together at a project in English. In addition to learning in teams they get familiar with language and technical backgrounds.The exchange goes with an excursion program that includes technical and cultural activities.This enables all participants to get a unique experience in other cultures and lifestyles right on the spot. Back home they can pass on their insights to their families, friends and employers.For many students it is the first time to go to a foreign country without their parents. Making that experience will help them to develop their own personality and identity. Contacts that are made may last for a lifetime.Last but not least we achieve a Europe that is growing together on a personal and social basis.
