Project Management for Proactive Youth Leaders

Project Management for Proactive Youth Leaders is a eight-day-long training course with 27 participants from Programme and Partner countries that will be held in Vienna between February 22- March 1, 2015. The aim of the course is to provide staff of youth NGOs, directly working with young people with immigrant background with the tools on international project management for empowerment of youth participation and active citizenship, supporting of learning process of young people and promotion of inclusion of young immigrants. The participants from from Austria, Belarus, Germany, Georgia, France, Poland, Estonia and Ukraine will be will participate in the training. As a result of the course each participant will to be able to design together young people their own project and be ready to implement it at their communities in cooperation with international partners. Participants of the course will be able to support young peoples' learning during the projects, developing the key competences and improving further employment perspectives. We have created a eight-days program based on non-formal education approach using interactive educational methods. Our trainers will provide necessary tools and knowledge for effective implementation of a youth project that supports learning of young people. By the end of the project each organization-participant will make a presentation of their own project that they are going to implement in their communities. TUMA are going to keep in touch with all of them in order to follow how the projects will come into the life. Each participant is obligated to send a detailed report about the implemented project and/or share it on social networks. It is very important for our project to transfer the ideas into action.
