The target was to adapt, transfer and optimise an already existing innovative modular vocational training course to the professional circumstances of CDWs. Through this training programme, CDWs targeted by the project are now able to manage better their daily work-life “projects” according to modern project management standards by applying appropriate methods and instruments.The core training programme was already developed by IFAID, and now, in co-operation with the project partners, it has been adapted to suit the needs and frameworks of CDWs.By proposing training in project management to CDWs, we supported the participants in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development.By presenting an innovative training module, in which trainees are in a professional situation, to the other vocational training centres, we supported improvements in quality and innovation within vocational education and training systems, institutions and practices.By proposing and presenting a new training programme to employers of CDWs, fully adapted to the professional needs of their employees, we enhanced the attractiveness of vocational education and training.
