PROGRESS PROJECT project seeks to disseminate examples good best practice across two VET organisations in the field of work experience and enterprise. Progress will enhance the Business Administration curriculum for 18, 16-18 year old students offering them the opportunity to develop their enterprise and entrepreneurial skills with their German peers. This visit with German partner BBS1 will allow students to will benefit from a two-week placement that includes work experience with a German employer as well as the opportunity to deliver of a social enterprise project with their German counterpart. This activity will enhance their cultural awareness but will help to instill the key employability skills widely sought by employers, from problem solving skills through to independence and initiative. This project seeks to give students a work focused and cultural experience and to maximise their potential employment options within the UK and EU.
