In a first stage, the purpose of the project was to transfer an innovative strategy and methodology for social dialogue, training/education, certification, and recruitment, already existing in France, with the aim of adapting it to the context and traditions of the partner countries, which would not already have all or part of this methodology.This has been a first step towards a European network for training, education, certification and professionalization of fitness careers, integrating European standards and references with regard to competences, qualification levels, European sectoral frames for competences (CSC). This would give the opportunity to face one of the major European challenge: having a high-level of qualification professional frame, seeking for a better coherence between training/education offer and employment needs.All the foreseen results have been achieved and all partners have shown an important interest in the eLearning platform from University of Lyon (SPIRAL CONNECT) and an agreement is made for a common free use after the end of the project.The major impact of the project is the creation of a European University degree of Professional Practice of the Jobs by the Shape (DUEPPMF) based on the European frames of certification of the Fitness and the transnational cooperation which is going to operate from 2012.
