The project focuses on language teachers development and especially on the international and multicultural communication. The project concerns a school located in a small town – Szydłowiec. That is why, both teachers and students have limited access to many forms of professional language development. Moreover, the main objective of the school and the project is internationalisation and the forms of teachers development included in the project unable its participants to establish long-term cooperation with other European countries and increase students’ sense of European identity. There are four teachers of three different languages (English, German and French) who participate in the project so that our school would be able to engage in cooperation with different counties and various communities. The participants have been selectedaccording to the following criteria: willingness to support others on their return; ability to disseminate knowledge to benefit the school overall, as well as their general motivation. The project partners have been chosen carefully and the teacher development courses are designed with specific outcomes linked to those prioritised in the Europe 2020 strategy and they meet the needs of our school its staff and students. The expected results and long-term benefits include the professional development of the participants, the enhancement of European consciousness among the participants as well as making the international cooperation an integral part of the school development plan.
