This year Josef Sousedík Secondary Schoolat Vsetín was again participating in the Erasmus+ European programme with the focus on several main aims. The Mobility Project “With professional skills around Europe towards ECVET” develops our current international activities and involves our cooperation with two foreign partners: the tried-and-tested company of F+U Sachsen gGmbH from Germany and a new well-considered partner of Tellus Group from the UK.
There were 14 students of The Applied Technology Programme (Autotronics), 4 apprentices of Pastry Cook vocational training and 2 students of Business Studies (Pastry Cooks) to go to Chemnitz in Germany.
During the single run of the study stay the participants adopted new procedures, gained new competencies and experience. The students of The Applied Technology Programme will learnt to find faults and diagnose automotive electronic problems by means of automotive diagnostic devices.
The mobility added value was the Forklift Training designed (in compliance with the Article 134b of the Czech Labour Code, CSN 26 88 05 – Forklift driver) for the students of The Applied Technology Programme (Autotronics).
The apprentices of the Pastry Cook vocational training learnt new technological procedures of Saxon pastry production. They used varied kinds of materials, pastries and fillings. The students of business studies (Pastry Cooks) were focused on the modern technologies and their combination with traditional procedures. In addition, they got new ideas for their business and explore marketing strategies which are used in the private sector of confectionaries to be able to stand up to the tough competition in our region.
12 students of the plumber specialization travelled to English Plymouth together. These trainees learnt to use the pressed joints of different materials, installation of heating system, water and sewer-main installation. The Josef Sousedík Secondary School Vsetín had already concluded a memorandum of understanding with two foreign countries. They have recognized each other as partners and have agreed on common criteria and procedures for quality assurance, evaluation and recognition of the results of the ECVET course obtained during the study period abroad.
Trainees of the mentioned Crafts were the second and the third – year pupils and the fourth – year graduation students. The main aim of the project was to prevent unemployment, improvement of the graduates to assert them on the Europe an work market thanks to ECVET and support student´s motivation to study of craft branches. The operational target of the applicant is to keep interest in craft, to promote and attract hand crafted branches.
Our trainees respected and observed safety at work, they got acquainted with the organization of work of German and British experts, applied technical terminology and improved the language skills and professional communication.
The project was based on educational documents. It was created in accordance with the frame work educational programmes and school educational plans and in relation to the development of the participants´ competencies. It accepted the graduate profile and approved their competences gained through ECVET.
Added value was that the trainees would obtain The Europass Mobility, where ECVET elements are incorporated.
They also got certificates of completing the trainee ship abroad – at our partners, F + U Sachsen gGmbH and Tellus Group.
