PROJECT
FINISHED
The mobility project is another realization of the school concept of providing students a part of vocational education abroad. Our school has been sending student interns to various European countries (Germany, Slovakia, Denmark etc.) for the past few years. The mobility project aims to provide students further experience and skills in currently attended study programmes at their home school. The project includes two activities – 2 internships in vocational education and training for the study programmes Cook – Waiter – Gastronomy and Tourism. The students of our school will be the participants in the internships. The first internship will take place in autumn 2014 (October – November) in Germany in the educational organization F+U Sachsen gGmbH, Chemnitz – Einsiedel and there will be 12 students of the study programme Cook – Waiter – Gastronomy and one person to accompany the students. The second internship will take place in spring 2015 (April – May) in ADC College in London, United Kingdom. We intend to send 15 students of the study programme Tourism and one person to accompany the students. Both internships will last 2 weeks. We have a cooperation agreement regarding the realization of the internships with both partner institutions. The students will carry out their work plan in our partner institutions. The students of the study programme Cook – Waiter – Gastronomy will experience a new work environment in Germany, they will learn how to cook German specialities, manage new technological procedures, discover new recipes and familiarize themselves with the ways of serving customers. The students of the study programme Tourism will work in travel agencies, hotel receptions and other hotel departments, where they will gain professional knowledge, experience and skills. The internships will be an opportunity for students to get to know a new country and its culture, to practice their language skills, to make contacts. At the end of the program the participants will receive a Certificate of attendance from the internship company followed by Europass-Mobility. The internships will be prepared by both partners according to the agreement and schedule. The results of the internship project will be used in classes at our school, both theoretical and practical, and they will also be provided to our students and teaching staff.
