Pro Europass will both establish a network of partners and create a series of support materials, to encourage Europass Training (apprenticeship training) for the metal, electro-technical, electrical and telecommunications industries.Experience shows that the implementation and promotion of the Europass Training document requires enhanced activity with industry and industry networks to further encourage Europass use.The project will create a model for the exchange of European apprentices, a model, which will then be tested through pilot exchanges across the partner countries.The model will be described in a series of handbooks, to be produced in all partner languages (FI, EN, DE & NO), to comprise: a Model of Europass Training in Practice; a Europass Handbook for Trainees/Apprentices; a Europass Handbook for Trainers; a Europass Handbook for Enterprises and a variety of Model Contracts and Report Forms.The project partners will make use of a 'Virtual Workshop' (internet based) for both project communication & development activity and the carrying out of the pilot exchanges themselves.The results of the project will be produced both in print and digitally and further use will be made of the 'Virtual Workshop' for disseminating project results and materials.
